I know it has been a few days since I posted and I was going to post yesterday but it was one of those days.
We went on our trip to where my family lives. Had a nice visit and the girls got to stay there.....Yes my babies are four hours away from me with my mom. It is nice. I needed a break and so did they. I will enjoy them when they get back but for now, I am liking it.
We did go on our hunt but neither one of us got anything. It was just a bad weekend. Too warm for much to happen.
Jason's allergies flared up and now he has really bad ear infections in both ears. So he is taking antibiotics again and steroids and is not in a good mood at all. So even though I dont have my girls, I am still not getting a lot done because I am holding him alot... If he is not better in two weeks, he goes back to his ear specialist.
Paul closed on his first Real Estate Sale yesterday. For those of you who dont know what that means, It means that the papers and everything are signed sealed and delivered. The new owners now have the right to move in. Pretty Cool huh...
I have had lots of stuff planned for this week but we will see how it goes. Today, I have to run some errands, and tommorow, I am going with Paul and his friend to look over their new land. (Potential hunting land) Thursday, I will probably be cleaning house and getting some organizing done and then Friday, I will finish up packing for our weekend trip the the Gospel Meeting that my (old) Home Church is having.
Speaking of Churches, Our little building that we have been building for our Church is coming along nicely. We have the plenum in for the heat and air, and as soon as we get the money for it, we are going to run ductwork and insulate and sheetrock....What fun. Us women of course cant wait until the paint is done and the carpet and other flooring in so we can decorate....lol.
I am hoping to post a list later this week of what I have gotten done and What I need to do. We will see how today goes. Hopefully with his antibiotics, Jason will be feeling better soon. If not, I will continue to enjoy holding my wonderful blessing.
I also seen baby Micah this weekend. He is doing good. He's so adorable.
I need to go get laundry swapped out....It is unreal how much less Ihave to do without the girls here. They love to go through a lot of clothes. But what else are girls supposed to do...

Chruch Dinners
We had a wonderful little get together at the park Friday night. It was actually a birthday party for a boy at church...He turned 6. It was fun.. We did not get to fish like we planned but maybe one night this week I can take the girls and go.
We had hotdogs and hamburgers and cake and ice cream. and we visited and we talked and the kids played and we had lots of fun.
Today after Church, we had sandwiches and stuff and visited for a little while. We were supposed to go put in som electric at the building site but Rick said he could take care of it all by himself so we came on home. They are supposed to be starting our building soon. Yay......
Anyway, Do you have dinners at your church? What do you usually do for them and what do the kids usually do?
I am just interested in all of this....

Odds and Ends
Hey, I am back from Church Camp and boy was it fun with three kids. I do have to say something though. My sister didnt make it up like she was supposed to. She got sick and didnt feel like coming. I didnot feel like being there at all. Wrong time of the month for me and mine has just gotten worse since Jason was born. Anyway, I did not have to worry about my kids that much. I mean some one was always wanting to hold Jason and Kylie and Alaina were always playing with the other kids and I could sit and visit while I watched them play. Now there were some days that we took naps instead of playing and a couple of days that we went to town. And I pressed T-shirts at night. (sorry Robert I didnt know you could press them.) Mom watched them for the most part at night but there were other people that helped to. (Thank You Christina for helping so much.....) And my sister Tammy was a big help. There are just too many to mention. I loved the fellowship and getting to visit and meeting new people and seeing old friends that I havent seen in a while.
Julie has a post on her blog about the Church of Christ. I know that some of the people that she is talking about was at camp. But if she had of been there with them she would have seen the Change, she would have seen that they are fighting for our Church. I have never felt like I did this year at Camp. It was just a wonderful feeling of love and belonging. I was a little disapointed because one of the main reasons I went down there was so my kids could see Claire and Lily and so I could visit with my sisters. God made me realize that that wasnt all there was to it. I have new friends (well renewed old friendships.)
We heard lots of good lessons and singing. I think the one that stood out most in my mind was the one Paul gave Sunday. It was over ATTITUDE. I will have to put it on here as a post. But my point is, I have heard that lesson several times and it never hit home like it did Sunday. I mean it just hit right where it needed too. For those of you that were there and seen that I wasnt one of the many (and I mean too many to count ) that went up for prayers, I was going to. My 4 yr old told me to stay there. HAHA She did not want to go up there because her daddy was crying. I hope all of you know that I need the prayers too.
My point is. Yes it is hard at Church Camp with little ones, they dont get their naps always, they are cranky in church, they dont always mind, they get dirty, they get off schedule a little bit, but they get straightened back out in a couple of days. they wash, and they can be held when cranky and moody. I would rather have been there sick and tired than not at all and missed the wonderful lessons and fellowship that we had. DId I mention i didn not have a husband there at all not even at night to fix bottles. lol......
Next.....Study time......I did not get up early last week, I stayed up so late pressing shirts and then visiting with a few that were still up and watching to make sure kids didnt sneak out that I was too exauseted to get up early. I did pray when I got up and I did study with my fellow christians at night so I guess I did study. I will try to get back on track this week, I have had a cold or the flu or something and am still not feeling well.
Honor Your Husband --------------I did not have very much time to honor my husband this past week. But I guess pressing tshirts while he was gone was all I could do. Our Marriage is going through one of those rough times that I cant explain. Too much work, not enough talking, bedrooms not that great cause we are both tired, etc.etc...Please pray for us. We need it right now.
I did not take any pictures at Church camp. I kinda got disheartened about them without my other two nieces there. I guess I should have taken pics of my other two nieces and nephews but it just didnt seem right to take pics of some and not all. Oh Well, Maybe next year.
I guess I need to go though. lots to do today and not enough time.
Love You all and Prayers to all
Thank You to All my Support at Church Camp.
Love You

Late updates....
I have really been busy this week. And my internet has decided to act up. So on two hours of sleep last night I will post this. First I will explain my two hours of sleep. Jason has been sleeping from about 8:30 to 5:30 great huh...not last night. He decided to wake up at 2:30 and toss and turn until about 6:00 and finally went back to sleep. But I was wide awake so I got up. It would not have been so bad except I stayed up until Midnight last night trying to get things done. I think God was telling me to go to bed from now on...lol.. * Alaina had to go monday for her check up (or one of them) and to get a test done at the health office. needless to say she did not sleep much Monday night. She is all clear of ear infections though. *Jason had a bad reaction to the antibiotics he was on and so we had to change them. His ears were worse infected than before and he had fluid behind them so he got a shot and more antibiotics. * I Have been getting up early but not spending alot of time studying. I have been praying and studying but not lengthy studies. I have put too much other stuff before God and my days have not went right. |

I have not been doing good in this. I have been getting angry, nagging, I have not been greeting him at the door and I have been shrugging him off and not being responsive at all...Bad Bad Wife..
I have set new goals for myself.
Along with last weeks,
I will try to help him more on projects. He really likes for me to help him when he is doing stuff on the website or when he is working in the yard. I dont like helping him because alot of times because of my insecurities, I end up feeling stupid. This really bugs him and he hates it that I feel that way. He does not do it on purpose. (You would just have to know my family history to know why I feel this way)
I cant make his lunch because he does not like taking a lunch. He hates soggy bread or cold chicken and he does not want to take a cooler and let it leak all over his car. (His job does not require him to stay in one place. He is back inforth between towns and never knows which one he will be in. ) plus he probably would forget that he had it anyway. So I will try to make more meals at supper time that he likes and put back more of my grocery money to give to him so he can eat better at lunch. (Dollar cheeseburgers just dont cut it)
Anyway, I need to get alot of stuff done today. I have to take Alaina back to the health office too...
One last point though. Please pray for me and my sister Julie http://accordingtohispower.blogspot.com If you hop over there and read her last two post you will understand. She makes some really great points. Her HYH post is mostly what I need to do also, and I am also struggling with the Church issues.
And THANK YOU JULIE for posting about Kermit. I am trying so hard not to cry. My kids are looking at me like I am crazy everytime I start to. They dont understand. lol.

Apreciative Husband
Okay, Everyone knows I went to see my family for a week when my sister had her baby. Well I think it made Paul think a little. Or else he just missed me like crazy. Sunday at Church his lesson was on Submissive wives (he actually complimented me on this one.) Loving husbands (he said he needed to work on this one I say he is great) and how much Christ loved the Church. He started out talking about how him and I have been working on having a more spiritual relationship and a more biblically correct one. No I dont mean that we arent married or that we do anything that we arent supposed to. Just that we have been working on our roles in the marriage according to what God commanded us to do. I have been working on being more submissive. Something that is really hard for me because I was raised being rebellious (no offense to my mom but that is another post I might do that later today.) I was not taught how to be submissive in certain matters. Anyway so I am having to study and learn how in order to have a biblically correct marriage. this is very important to me because I want to do what God commanded me to do.
Paul is supposed to love me as Christ loved the Church. He claims that he needs work in this area. I say he doesnt because he is a great husband. Sure we have our arguments, but their is nothing he would not do for me. He has even lightened up on how clean the house is. He used to say he wanted it spotless and now he realizes that with three kids and a home business it is not ever going to be spotless. (well maybe when the kids get old enough that they are not constantly making messes) but anyway, he was talking about how he needs to be more of my helpmeet. I thought I was supposed to be his helpmeet.
It got me to thinking that I dont really appreciate all that he does. It also made me realize that he does appreciate what i do in our relationship. He says he doesnt appreciate it enough. I sometimes feel like he doesnt. But anyway, do we as wives really look at what our husbands do and really appreciate the hard work that they do to bring home the money for our food and clothes and our wants. I know sometime I dont. Every two weeks when it comes time for that check, I figure up bills and groceries(yes Paul can trust me with his house (money included because i do not overspend.) all i can think about is there isnt enough money to do everything that we need to do. I dont ever stop and tell God thank you for my husband having a job and being able to pay the bills and buy groceries. I whine about what i cant do. That is not very appreciative.
I have often heard out of alot of women that their husbands do not do anything but sit in a chair and watch tv. Well.... to those women.....have you stopped to think about how much work he has done over the years. Or what circumstances in his life have led up to him just wanting to sit there. My dad for example sits in his chair alot. he has depression and post traumatic stress disorder (not fun). He gets a disability check from the VA because he was in the service in Vietnam ( reason for the ptsd.) It used to bug me as a teen ager that my dad was like this. He worked alot more when I was a teen ager but he still sat in that chair alot. I often thought that he didn't do anything. I never stopped to realize that he has done plenty. he went to the service, he has worked hard all his life providing for his family. even when he could no longer drive a truck to provide, his brain came up with the idea of building cattle equipment to provide so he started that business. He has always provided for our family. We have always known that if we needed anything all we had to do was ask. But yet we accuse him of not doing anything.
HAHAHAHAH....He has done his part. It is his time to rest. His diablility check now provides for him and my mom. If he hadnt done something, they would not get that. So HE HAS DONE PLENTY.
If my husband wanted to quit his job tommorow and try and find something else, I would not complain. If he got hurt tommorow and could not work, I would not say that he never does anything because he has done plenty. he has provided for his family and if he was not physically able to work, his brain would come up with something to make money.
I just do not feel like we appreciate our husbands enough. This is part of being submissive and loving to our husbands. Because if we dont appreciate them then we do not completeyly love them and we cannot be completely submissive to them.
I know my husband has a new appreciation for how much I do because while I was gone, he had to do some of the paper work, go to work everyday, go to class two nights a week and get ready for the weekend where he set up his T-shirt booth. Yes he used to do all this (minus class) before we got married, but he hasnt had to do it all in a while and he usually has me to help him get ready for shows. It wasnt fun he said. He missed me. lol..........But his lesson at Church Sunday told me just how much he does appreciate me and how much he loves me. I was in tears in the middle of Church. And he says he isnt the best husband he can be..........we will have to see about that.
